Henry Kranendonk

Henry Kranendonk is a mathematics and computer science teacher at Rufus King High School where he has been since 1980. He has also taught at Marquette's Educational Opportunity Program and Alverno College courses for 15 years.
Henry was an Assistant Examiner for the Computer Science curriculum within the International Baccalaureate program and a facilitator for IB Computer Science workshops. 


Primary area of expertise is in high school mathematics. 


Henry's main outside interest is writing curriculum. He was part of a team of writers that developed a project entitled "Data-Driven Mathematics". He co-authored a book with Jeff Witmer (a statistician from Oberlin College) entitled "Exploring Centers" (sometimes subtitled "Raisin Geometry") as part of this series. These books are published by Dale Seymour Publications. He was also an author for the NCTM book Navigating Through Probabiity Grades 9-12, and has written articles for the NCTM Mathematics Teacher.
